Chard Equestrian Centre

Another fabulous weekend at Chard. Gayle White started the weekend off with an effortless double clear and 5th place on Nicola Scrutton's Streamside Kir Royale and another lovely double clear with Beverly Mattelaer's Headonn Covergirl. Zoe Bennett continued doing a fantastic job of Mary Wood's Little Sox, gaining 2nd place on Saturday. Kaly Latchev also had another fantastic show on Top Rock, gaining placings everyday with double clears.

A massive thank you to Claire Atkins, Grace Clark, Alex Jones and Casey McGuinness for keeping everything running smoothly and working well at home.

As always a massive thank you to our sponsors Equine Science, Bryony Burt Equine Osteopath, Synergy Saddles and Pointers Equine and Country, without whom none of these fantastic results would be possible.

fabulous weekend at Chard. Zoe Bennett kicked off the weekend jumping Mary Wood's Little Socks beautifully in the clear round and 90cm followed by Mary Wood herself joining us back in the ring for the first time this year. First Show for Zoe and so much to come from this talented young lady.  Beverley Mattelaer's Headonn Covergirl ridden by Gayle White at her first BS show and Nicola Scrutton’s Streamside Kir Royale took it all in their stride jumping the British Novice and 95cm on the surface and grass for some class rounds both with good placings. The Crewdson’s Mary-Lou V'T Dauwhof ridden by Gayle jumped well in preparation for Royal Windsor and was placed throughout the weekend. Kaly Latchev rode brilliant rounds at only his second show stepping up to 1.10m and placing 7th in the 1m. A fabulously run show with the best grass I have ridden on in years Chard Equestrian. Looking forward to the next one.

Massive thank you to Claire AtkinsGrace ClarkAlex Jones and Casey McGuinness for looking after everything at home.

Also a huge thank you to our amazing sponsors Equine Science UK, Bryony Burt Equine Osteopath and Pointers Equine & Country.

Great first show of the season at Chard Equestrian. Nicola Scrutton’s Streamside Kir Royale at his first BS show was clear in the 80cm on the first day and just has a couple of green poles over the weekend in the British novice. Mocklershill April Pride and Gayle had a faultless three days with a 2nd, 3rd and a 3rd. Kaly Latchev and Top Rock at their first show had a great experience with several clear rounds in the 1m and 1.05m with Gus Crewsdon on his own Mary-Lou V’T D having a 5th place in the 90cm and jumping some 1m classes for experience.

Thank you to Zoe Bennett and Lyla Mainwaring for turning out the horses beautifully and to Claire Atkins, Grace Clark, Alex Jones and Casey McGuiness for looking after everything at home.

A massive thank you to our sponsors Equine Science, Pointers Saddlery and CWD Sellier for their continued support.
